Bare Your Truth!

Welcome back to my blog!!!! I must be honest I didn't know what I wanted to write about this week ... however, Im going to share a little about my poetic side....the reason I started writing poetry was to just let out my thoughts,  to cope with life...to cope with the hurt, the pain, the disappointment, childhood trauma, and just everything ....one day I started spilling my thoughts in journals and soon after that I started turning those thoughts into poetry. I was baring it all .Poetry became muse, my music,  my drug, my healer, my bestfriend. I had a story to tell. I had experiences that many could relate to.Everyone has a story to tell. We all have things that we go through in life and sometimes the things we go through in that moment, seem unbearable and so hard to understand.  However, I believe pain gives birth. It gives birth to growth, development,  and wisdom.  Your story helps you to grow.  Your character develops through your experience. ...Society teaches us that we are supposed to keep all of our pain hidden, or mask our pain, anger, or hurt..but they are WRONG!!!!! Don't be afraid of your truth. Your truth is who you are. Your truth heals you....I remember just spending hours writing and finding different ways of expressing my emotions. The more I wrote the more I loved words and expressing myself. I found freedom.  I fell in love with poetry. I fell in love with being able to bare all my truth, without judgement.  ...poetry was mine and no one could take that from me. Poetry is where I became naked with myself, naked with the world...I stopped caring what people thought of me. POETRY is where I became Queen.Poet. Love....so I write...I write to share my truth,  I write to heal my wounds, I write to find peace.... I write for you! I write for Him. I write for Her. .... with love,

I encourage you to bare your truth too... get comfortable  with your truth,  go deep with your pain, overcome your insecuritues,  tell your story!

Here's a little information about my books....

My first book of poems "CAN I SAY THIS?" .....was a very emotional book for me....I was young when I wrote this book....I share alot about my infant thoughts on hurt,  love, heartbreak, and just wild imagination...

My second book "MIND VERSUS PEN"....I wrote this book after a period when I wanted to give up writing.  Life had got to me and I just didn't want to write anymore...but my passion for poetry just wouldn't let me quit...hence the name of the title. This book is more of the wisdom I have acquired from obstacles and truth that I found within myself....

Now my third book of poetry "BARELY SECRETS".....is ...just what the title says.... secrets...it was myself discovery... and my truth..... you can purchase  my books @ http://www.lulu.com/shop/yulli-bouza/barely-secrets/paperback/product-23154905.html

P.S. bare your truth!!

  1. Pain gives birth is one of my favorites this particular poem allowed me to come to an understanding that pain is the inevitable and also a necessity in this exsistance. Pain can cause one to grow voluntary or involuntary but growth still takes place after the pain. I've also come to understand that the only way growth can really take place in an individual's life is when that person can bear the truth of his or her own heart(mind). Ms. Bouza I really enjoy reading your blogs since day one. People desire to be free in the mind however have not come to the understanding of how. It is my belief that you have been sent for this season this time this hour this very second to free the minds of those who really desires freedom of the mind......The mind... God's greatest design never to be duplicated or replicated the mind is authentic and is worthy of living in truth. I've come to understand that mind is truly a terrible thing to waste. Big ups to you Ms. Bouza keep up the great work. To understand is to understand the plan of God and the plan of God is to live in truth.WE ALL are bearers of truth why because our minds matters! 💯💯💯💫🔥💥🌟✨

    1. Thank Joel. You're absolutely right. People do desire to be free, and freedom comes with truth. Acknowledge your pain and experiences allows healing to take place. Healing is a process of facing the mirror.
