What's in your heart?

Do your ever wonder what's in your heart? Is your heart good, pure, evil,  wicked?.... what is the heart? Is the heart just this organ pumping blood through our body?.... what makes our heart so wicked? Is it the festering poison left from negative emotions and bad experiences?.. like what's in your heart??? They say when you love someone,  that person has your heart, but what does that mean? How can you truly love me with a wicked or twisted heart?

By definition the heart is the innermost part of something....so .that means our hearts are the innermost parts of ourselves...the heart is our core....the heart is where our true desires originate...the heart holds those things we hold deep down inside of us that no one can see... things like unforgiveness, hate, kindness, forgiveness,  mercy,  truth,  resentment,  bitterness, joy, happiness,  love,  peace,  doubt, fear, jealousy, self-hatred, low self-esteem, and the list goes on...you can either have positive or negative things in your heart....what if I pulled out your heart, not the physical organ, but the desires and intentions of your soul, what would it look like? What if others could see your heart or maybe they already do!!! Does that mean everyone can see our deep dark secrets??? Are you proud of your heart?   I have always tried to be the kind of person that took care of my heart.  No matter what was going on around me, I guarded my heart from collecting negative things. I  constantly check my heart and my motives to make sure I'm not storing up filth.  Its so easy to build up things in our hearts unknowingly and sometimes those things affect us and how we behave or treat others... if you think about how dirt builds up on a table or chair until its cleaned and if you never clean dirt,  the dirt keeps piling up. can you imagine what happens when we build things up in our hearts.  What if the only thing you hold in your heart is all negative? Have you cleaned your heart?.... everything we do is a result of what's in our heart. The way we think,  perceive,  act or behave comes from what we store in our hearts. In this era we get so consumed with our outward appearance.  We focus on things like having a big butt, slim waist, big muscles,  perfect beard, nice breast, clear skin, ..but we forget about our heart, mind,  soul,  and spirits. What if your heart is ugly.  What if your mind is rotting? What if  your spirit isn't right?


Let's say your friends are coming over for dinner but you didn't have time to clean your house or take the trash out. You  run through house frantically trying to cover up the mess, light fragrance candles, put things under the bed, under couches and inside the closet.... now your friends start arriving and your dying inside,  hoping no one will notice your mess. No one will open your closet or look under your bed.... knowing deep down inside that if your friends stay long enough they will discover your secret.... so now what do you do???? And if they never found out, can we hide from our mess? Can you hide from your heart?? Sometimes our hearts are messy and so filled with dirt that we don't even know where to start cleaning. We let things linger so long inside us, that they become a stain or a stench.  How can we expect any relationship to last if we have all this junk inside of us.... sometimes its easier to swip things under the rug then to actually deal with them.

P.s. don't be beautifully decorated house,
Make sure to store up good things in your heart ... don't let anyone inside your heart if its dirty...
