Stop being toxic.
what is toxic??? who is toxic? why are we toxic??? this are questions that run through my mind when I think about toxic?? before I jump into the this topic I want to welcome you back to the blog!! thank you to those that take the time read!😘🥰.....anyhow...I want to write about being toxic because no matter how perfect we think we are, we are NOT. I had to come to terms with this myself. I had to realise how much I have evolved or continue to evolve, I will never be perfect and theres will some level of toxic traits that I will have to work to overcome... so what is toxic you make ask?? well toxic is being filled with negative or harmful traits, patterns, or behaviors. As I wrapped my schooling on becoming a Psychotherapist, I had found myself being exposed to all my toxic behaviors both on the present and the past. and as future helping professional I realized I still had work to do (but I love doing work on myself). so I journey through the work process I decided to take my readers with me. so YOU are toxic! we are all toxic at some point in our lives. toxic behaviors or patterns are often learned or acquired in life through life events and circumstances..sometimes we are aware we are being toxic sometimes we live in denial...but remaining toxic when we are are aware we have been toxic is the worst kind of death (spiritually). like anything harmful, being toxic is like drinking poison and expecting not to dd die. so how do you know you are toxic, well let men highlight some things the things that I have found through research:
• suppressing emtoions/anger. When anger is continuously suppressed and not healthily expressed it can turn into deep resentments, unconscious sabotaging behaviors, or toxic energy. also,
• Lack of support for others
• Toxic communication. ... criticizing, name calling, aggression, passive aggression, stone wailing, silent treatment
• Jealousy.
• Controlling behaviors
• Resentment. ...
• Walking on eggshells
• Dishonesty. ...
• Lack of self-care
• Patterns of disrespect (for others or accepting disrespect from others)
• Lost of Relationships (without taking ownership)
• Negative financial behaviors.
• Constant stress
• Ignoring your needs/lack of self-love
• Dishonesty (with yourself and others)
• Avoidance. Addressing conflict is very toxic.
• Insecurity(ignoring your flaws is toxic)
• Co-dependency
•negative spirit, perception, or outlook
Etc.
being toxic results in accepting and engaging in toxic relationships. which overall is just bad for your spiritual, mental, and emtional wealth. so today I just encourage YOU on being more spiritually, emotionally, and mentally wealthy. work on your toxic traits/behaviors and become a better you!!
P.S. no toxic relationships in 2021!!
